RJA Installer Data 9.0.4

The Installer Data application is designed to facilitate RJA Associates in optimizing their installation projects undertaken on behalf of clients. It enables staff to collect and submit installation data efficiently to a centralized server.

The application accommodates two user types:

• Technical User / Installer
• • Search for bus information using the bus number or designated search fields assigned to their mobile device, with bus data uploaded by the administrator.
  • Navigate to the populated data screen where the system displays existing information, allowing entry of the device's serial number—an essential mandatory field for all installations.
  • Click the save button to record the entered data.
• Customer User
• • Search for and view bus information, then click on additional details to access unit information.
  • This role does not include data entry responsibilities.

Data population within the app is managed by the server administrator, who uploads a predefined dataset presented in tabular form. The admin also determines which data fields are visible in the client application interface.

Once data is entered or viewed, users can utilize this information in various ways:

• Technical users or installers can input the required data or access device-specific information via an SDK—particularly relevant for Geotab projects where SDK integration is configured by the admin during project template creation.
